This is a photographic record of walks I have taken in the five boroughs -- posted in rough chronological order.

I'll skip around from borough to borough as the mood strikes me. I'll add captions and occasionally a brief
commentary but, for the most part, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves

Hi Bob,
I can't believe it, Ted and I were just emailing each other about WTC! And now I see you've been photographing the site. Although we've never met, I keep thinking of you through your photography. I'll see something in the landscape that will remind me of shots you've taken. ;-) I have to chuckle a little. Best Wishes.

P.S. Months ago, Ted mentioned you might be thinking about getting a DSLR. I, too, have been thinking of getting one, and was wondering what model you settled on? I'm still using my Canon Point-n-Shoot. :-)

This last set of photos was taken with my friend Marvin's Nikon D300 which he let me use for a couple of hours. Even without a tripod -- which I probably will never use -- the technical quality of the pictures is obviously very much improved over that of my Cannon Power Shot S5. It's a very good camera, but not cheap. And technical quality does not guarantee artistic improvement. A decision will be made soon.
