I've been passing this abandoned restaurant for over a year on my way up to Gardiner. It's an eyesore at the entrance of Route 84, in Newburgh. I view it as a symbol of this "great recession." Notice that this is probably the only restaurant in America without a front door.
New York City is a kaleidoscope. As I walk the boroughs and turn each corner there is always a surprise.
This is a photographic record of walks I have taken in the five boroughs -- posted in rough chronological order.
I'll skip around from borough to borough as the mood strikes me. I'll add captions and occasionally a brief
commentary but, for the most part, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
