This is a photographic record of walks I have taken in the five boroughs -- posted in rough chronological order.

I'll skip around from borough to borough as the mood strikes me. I'll add captions and occasionally a brief
commentary but, for the most part, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves

Whenever I got the dentist I take my camera. It's a part of town that I otherwise don't normally visit. Today I introduced my new Nikon D-300 to this unreal world.

Thanks for visiting and for leaving such useful comments Bob. I'll have to think about posting my horizontals a bit larger to fill the screen, but sometimes when they are too large you can't enjoy them in their entirety without scrolling. Any thoughts?

OH! Funny you should mention the idea of me purchasing an SLR. I just did last week!! and used it for the first time last Tuesday. Unfortunately, it was just after I had taken the photo "Aria in Springtime". Although that particular photo was taken at sunset with lots of atmospheric glow and backlighting, an DSLR would have made it that much sharper and clearer. I totally agree! I hope you're having fun with yours as well!! As I mentioned before, I look forward to future posts.
